School Holidays for 2024

The school year for 2024 for all MOE primary schools (including MOE Kindergartens) and secondary schools will start on Tuesday, 2 January 2024 and end on Friday, 15 November 2024.

The year-end vacation schedule of Sec 1 and Sec 2 starts from mid-October to the end of December every year.
A student can come back home at least 5 times a year, not including public holidays lasting 3 days on weekends at least 2-3 times

Lunar New Year: 4-7 days
March: 9 days
May-June: 1 month
September: 9 days
October-December: 2 and a half months (sec 1-2)
November-December: 1 and a half months (elementary school - O level - A level)
